  • Account Information: name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Profile Data: personal growth goals, dimension preferences, and onboarding responses.
  • Activity Data: journal entries, workout logs, financial entries, goals, books, creative projects, and other data you input across all 8 life dimensions.
  • Chat Messages: text and voice messages you send to our AI assistant.
  • Integration Data: messages sent via Telegram or WhatsApp when you link your account.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interaction patterns.
  • Device Information: browser type, operating system, and IP address.
  • Cookies: language preferences and session management.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our personal growth tracking services.
  • Generate AI-powered insights, reports, and recommendations based on your activity.
  • Calculate and update your dimension scores and growth analytics.
  • Process voice messages (transcription via OpenAI Whisper).
  • Send notifications and reminders through your connected messaging platforms.
  • Create spaced repetition flashcards from your learning data.
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support.

4. AI Processing

We use third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) to process your messages and generate insights. Your data is sent to these providers solely for the purpose of providing our service. We do not use your data to train AI models. Each provider's data handling is governed by their respective privacy policies.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) servers located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest.
  • Secure password hashing (bcrypt).
  • JWT-based authentication with token rotation.
  • Rate limiting and request validation.
  • Secret management via Google Secret Manager.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

  • AI Providers: Anthropic and OpenAI for message processing.
  • Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform for hosting and storage.
  • Messaging Platforms: Telegram and Meta (WhatsApp) for message delivery, only when you connect these services.
  • Legal Requirements: when required by law or to protect our rights.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data stored in our system.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
  • Delete your account and all associated data via Settings.
  • Disconnect third-party integrations (Telegram, WhatsApp) at any time.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Score history older than 90 days is automatically cleaned up. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

MyTelos is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
